Brief for 
MA Expanded Practice

 I was invited to contribute and co-run the brief 'Alt_Landscape' for a cohort of 40 students in the MA Design Expanded Practice, a radical post-disciplinary programme at Goldsmiths, University of London. Created in conjunction with Dominic Robson, Tesse Mckenzie and David Jones this brief focuses on in-real-life exploration of the landscape. Its aim is to critically challenge and reimagine our interactions with spaces, architectures, and topographies by delving into associated histories, folklore, traditions, socio-economic factors, 
and communities.

Students join the MA Design Expanded Practice at Goldsmiths to expand their creative boundaries and challenge their personal practices by experiencing a post-disciplinary environment through firsthand critical and social undertakings. The brief and its components are designed to meet this expectation. We focused on creating an environment where students were encouraged to choose and research a location of interest, developing their unique recording mechanisms and perspectives, while engaging in weeks of guided, personalised study and experimentation. Weekly tutorials and lectures, led by myself and other project leads, provided guidance, support, and insights. In addition to delivering lectures, my role encompassed tutoring both groups and individuals. I also participated in the final grading of the students at the conclusion of the project.
